Brendon Hills Riding Holidays
Bring your own horse to Cridland's farm and enjoy wonderful and varied rides through the stunning Brendon hills.
It is only a short hack to the newly opened Coleridge Way. This bridleway links the Quantocks Area of Outstanding Natural beauty to Exmoor National Park, allowing you to ride for miles!
If you need picking up at a certain point we would be happy to bring the trailer. We can also transfer luggage to your next stop if required.
Some of our favourite local rides are:
- Ride 1 - This takes you through the local Ollery Wood, down past a quarry and across a few field bridleways. The woodland tracks are always easily rideable throughout the year
- Ride 2 - With a little initial roadwork along lanes a bridleway takes you up to Willett Hill where you can enjoy the tracks through the wood with wonderful views.
- Ride 3 - With just a 5 minute trailer ride you can be on the Quantocks where you can literally ride all day over the moors and through woodland. Maps will be provided !
- Ride 4 - A mile up the road takes you to Clatworthy reservoir which has a network of bridleways allowing you to follow a pleasant route round the water.
- Ride 5 - Some new permissive paths allow riders to ride through the woodland at Combe Sydenham.
